Small but mighty, hemp hearts are loaded with protein, essential fatty acids, fiber and more.  They are so easy to add to all sorts of things too – like salads, smoothies, sandwiches…you name it.  Another way to enjoy the awesome benefits of hemp in an easily assimilated package is to blend them into a hemp milk.

Not everyone likes straight hemp milk so if you don’t want to taste just the hemp, use this as a base for a powerhouse of a smoothie.


¼ cup Hemp Hearts

3-4 cups Cold Water

Sweeteners and additional flavorings, as desired


Blend all ingredients until smooth and milky.  If using a standard blender, pour through a sieve to yield a smoother end result.  Use immediately.
