Dairy-Free Chocolate Ice Cream

Seriously, I love this ice cream makeover.  It is ridiculously simplistic and so much better for the family than the alternatives.


1 Can Organic Coconut Milk (NOT Low-Fat)

2 Bananas

⅓ Cup Raw Cacao

⅓ Cup Raw Honey

Pinch of fine Sea Salt


Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Chill in refrigerator and process in ice cream maker, as per manufacturer’s instructions.  (Note: some of them require additional freeze time beyond being in the machine.  This is not because of the recipe but because of the make of some smaller ice cream makers.)

If you don’t own an ice cream maker, freeze and scoop.  The consistency may be a touch different than when it’s been churned while freezing but it’s still delicious!
